[News] Mysterious Fire Razed Down Langtang Main Market.

In the wee hours of the morning whilst others people are waking up to the dawn of celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the traders of Langtang North main market cannot say same.

In what had been termed a tragedy and an unfortunate incident, a mysterious fire razed down some trader's stall in the market. The cause of the fire which has remain unknown as at time of filing this report started around 1:30am on Christmas day.

The Chairman of Langtang North local government council, Hon. Ubandoma Joshua Laven has expressed deep sadness over the incident, while sympathizing with the victims, he ordered the that the sum of five hundred thousand be given to each of the affected stall owner to help in rebuilding their stalls.

The Sarkin Kasuwa Langtang in his reaction to the chairman's goodwill thank him for coming to their aid at such a great pace, he also appreciate the gallant men of the Langtang fire service department for their prompt response to the incident. The Sarkin Kasuwa also reported about 43 stalls that were destroyed by the fire.

The Chairman was accompanied to this visit by his deputy and supervisory councilor on social service and some key members of his cabinet. An investigation is underway by the men of the Nigerian Police force to unmasked the cause of the fire.

Langtang main market is oneu of the biggest open air market in plateau state, the market which held once a week on Saturday had remained the source of livelihood to so many people and major source of revenue to the local government council.
