According to the Lawmaker, her constituents felt the impact of her representation in the first year adding that, "Once the people felt the positive impact of a legislator, it became easier for them to trust that legislator and vote back such a legislator." On her legislative sojourn so far, the Lawmaker said, "It hasn’t been easy for me as a woman. I had to work harder for my voice to be heard and to be taken serious. Lar who is the Chairperson of the House Committee on Science and Technology applauded the Federal Government for improved funding of the sector stressing that improved funding has significantly helped in promoting local manufacturing of cars, solar panels, tricycles among others and called on Nigerians to encourage local manufacturers by patronizing the made-in-Nigeria products which would in turn help create job opportunities for youths. She described technology as the way to the future adding that "Technology is the way of the future and many countries have advantage of technology to grow their economy and Nigeria cannot be left behind. What we are trying to do is promote our own home-grown technology instead of being dependent on foreign technology.” Honourable Lar stated that the ban on importation of raw materials for local manufacturing had started yielding positive results as according to her, the Raw Materials Research and Development Agency had gone into partnership with companies in the country adding that the partnership has helped in boosting local manufacturing through the use of locally sourced raw materials.
