Being a comrade was a coveted status! A person we all look up to and a comrade was seen to be the voice of the masses.It comes with a lot of responsibility to be a comrade! A comrade has automatically bought into persecution and is always ready to stand against any form of injustice.

Who is a comrade to start with?

The word comrade itself is used as a term of address for men and women who are part of the same movement.
A comrade's struggles are never stomach center, you check clearly from the above definition you will understand that a comrade is void of selfishness and self-centeredness comrade put the struggle first!That was the picture of a true comrade. This is not to demean anyone, in fact, this article was birth based on a survey on a popular Jos's Facebook group "Jos Rant". Some may take the response from that innocent post "One fact about comrade" to be a pure comedy and an exhibition of online trolling and jokes making. No, it goes beyond that you know. Because some of the "So-called Comrade" were online to support their dubious character and not in a good light.

Some of the comments read Thus: Timbut Vongs wrote, "Any caftan that is not well starch, we no de wear am, we are allergic to hustling, we like visiting politicians."

Simi Deme has this to say also,   Once they are before a well-known politician, They will continue to wash their hands without water and be hailing him like he is the one giving them life. They are politicians errand boys and very jobless.They are just hungry for little change and alcohol
Simi "never finished oo, she goes on to comment again saying, "They speak good English whenever they want to deceive a girl to eat free food and collect her money too.They are full of pride n jobless because they get little change from their boss"

Vendiya Dandam Major comment read thus, "Those of you saying Comrades beg from Politicians, let me tell you it takes only a smart person to get serious money from those creatures called Politicians because they are retired Gbemites as well."

Blessing Rinret Sunday para for the matter sha, this is what she commented, "Most of them mumu, they condemn existing excos and use their bosses' office to date girls and they gossip and insult their co's in absentia a lot. The majority of them have navy blue 406 and are conk womanizers swear these people are just unbelievableThese people know almost everything in Nigeria and in the diaspora and can brag on no truth of their message. Once they know a single positive truth about the political system communities will not have peace of mind everybody must hear their point"

Manji Peter Don Dada another member of the group commented, "They have 2 starched caftans with 3 Arabian cufflinks pls 5 wedding face Caps, some of them are fortunate to now have 406 cars..... Bunch of comrades kenan"

The post has garnered about 615 comments, 333 reactions, and 4 shares at the time of writing this article has mostly negative comments popping all over it.

I check Quora to see what comrade means so as not to be biased in my judgment.I will share some responses on Quora.

Comrade which started as an activist has lost its taste in Plateau state. we use this name now to cover our mess and total idiocy online and offline. No day will pass without you seeing two who claim this name fighting and exchanging posts on Facebook to support their failed political godfathers. Most of them are armed with the internet for an attack of any perceived political rival and response. I thought they are not supposed to be tools? A comrade can join politics, yes, not to be an E-thug! To the true comrade still fighting for the true cause without biased, kudos.

This is a call to all Comrade to wake up and stop being tools! You are the system.
