  • Using the 737 code.
  • Using internet banking.
  • Using the GT world mobile app.
  • Using the GT mobile app.
  • Using an ATM.

Using the 737 code.

This method shows you how to use the GTbank USSD code to block your debit card in minutes.

To use this method, all you have to do is Simply dial*737*51*10# on your mobile phone using the mobile number linked to your GTbank account, then follow the on screen prompts.

With that you would have successfully block your debit card using the 737 code.

Using internet banking.

This method shows you how to block your GTbank debit card using internet banking.

This method is very effective all you have to do us follow these easy steps:

  • Once you are logged in
  • Click on cards from the menu
  • Select “card hotlist” and follow the on screen prompts.

Using the GT world mobile app.

The method shows you how to block your debit card using GT world mobile app.

I’m  sure you are aware that GTbank has two mobile apps, the GT world and the GT mobile banking app.

To use the GT world to block your debit card follow these easy steps:

  1. Login on the app.
  2. Swipe left to you menu
  3. Click cards, then select block my card

Viola and with that you would have successfully blocked your debit card.

Using the GT mobile banking app.

This method shows your how to block your debit card using the second GTbank app which is the GT mobile banking app.

To block your card using the GT mobile banking app follow these easy steps:

  1. Log in on the app
  2. From the menu select “my services “
  3. Click on cards and cheques.
  4. Tap on “card hotlist request “
  5. Follow the on screen prompts and block your card.

Using an ATM.

If you are in a situation where you do not have access to your phone or any device to log in to your mobile banking apps, visit the nearest GTbank ATM close to you, there you can hotlist your card via any if the cardless option there.

Note: you’ll be required to know the last four digit of your ATM card to pull this off.

To use this method follow these steps:

  1. Press any key on the ATM to start the cardless transaction.
  2. Next, select cardless hotlist
  3. Enter the mobile number linked to your GTbank account.
  4. Lastly enter the last four digit of your ATM card.

And with that you would have successfully blocked your debit card using an ATM.
